3-2-2015, the House of Wisdom Institute received Mr. Peter Weiderud President of the Religious Social Democrats of Sweden,
Mr. Weiderud met with trainees of the Diplomacy program, he spoke about the historical relations between Palestine and Sweden and also about the Swedish parties’ positions towards the Palestinian cause, Mr. Weiderud said that the Swedish Social Democrats party was one of the first parties in Europe to have connections and supportive relations with Palestinians. Mr. Weiderud spoke on Sweden last position of recognizing Palestine, saying Sweden believes this policy goes for the benefit of ending the conflict peacefully.
