the Board of Trustees members welcomed the delegation and presented to them HOW’s work in the Criminal Justice strategy in Palestine which is executed in cooperation with the concerned ministries e.g. the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Interior.
The delegation listened to a presentation on the Criminal Justice strategy project; the delegation expressed its admiration for the project where it studies successful experiences of countries in building their own criminal justice strategy. The delegation confirmed its willingness to present this project to international NGOs concerned with the legal and justice issues in order to gain support and develop the idea.
Also the delegation listened to presentations for projects the House of Wisdom will implement concerning the enhancement of the women’s role in the society, the Youth programs and the Palestinian social reconciliation programs.
During this month, the House of Wisdom received two expert delegations from Norway and India and presented the same project to them in order to gain the support and guarantee the continuity of the work.
