Carrying out it is role to solve the crises which faced the Palestinian, On Tuesday 10th March 2016, House of Wisdom institute held panel discussion entitled th March 2016 by “The crises of Al-Azhar University between the student’s interest and the differences parties”.
The meeting was attended by some of the heads and representatives of student frames inside and outside Al-Azhar University, in addition to a number of writers, symbols of civil society, professionals in the legal and political sphere and students to discuss the merits crises of the Al-Azhar University after the recent student’s mobility, which calls for the university to re-activate the students’ activities.
All of the representatives of the student frameworks expressed their views and recommendations on the crises of the university and the nature of the recent student’s mobility, where Ahmed Tanani, secretary of the Student Labor Progressive Front, said that the recent student’s mobility is a result of a cumulative work calls to activate the student’s activities, and the student’s fund, control the prices of the university’s book, provide facilities for the martyrs families. Tanani added that an agreement was reached with the university administration to activate the Student’s activities. Taher Abu Zeid, the head of Al-Shabebah, said that Al-Shabeebah has been suspended their sit-in after it was agreed with the university administration.
On the other hand, the Islamic bloc representative Mahmoud Shawish said that Al-Azhar University administration refused to represent the student frameworks inside the university under the pretext that Student’s Council is the representative of the students at the university. Shawish pointed that it was agreed to establish a committee composed of seven frames student at the university, this committee is authorized to talk about everything that would be harmful to students, but the absence of an important head of Al-Shabebah prevented the publication of the statement eliminates the end of Al-Azhar University crisis.
As part of an open discussion in which the audience, the legal expert Dr. Abdul-Karim Shabbir paised the efforts of the House of Wisdom, and he denouncedthe postponement of the Council’s elections. Shabir called student frames to service the people’s issues such as teachers’ issue, electricity’s issue, taxes issue, unemployment, and violations of prisoners.
