11-2-2015, within the Training Diplomacy Program, the House of Wisdom received The Representative of Switzerland Mr. Paul Garnier,
along with Mr. Jonas Geith. They were welcomed by the House of Wisdom Staff; the Swiss Representative presented the Swiss foreign policy towards the Palestinian cause and Switzerland’s role in supporting Palestine, Mr. Garnier also spoke on the basic principles of Switzerland policies such as the neutrality position of Switzerland, where it is considered as a depositary state to Geneva Conventions and the establishment of the International Committee of the Red Cross ICRC in Geneva.
Mr. Garnier talked about Switzerland support in achieving the Palestinian reconciliation and resolving internal problems such as the Palestinian civil servants
