18-3-2014, the Youth Advocacy team PYAN of the House of Wisdom Institute received a delegation from the Netherlands…
representing Cord Aid Foundation, the delegation’s visit to the Gaza Strip is to contribute to developing the Palestinian civil society and meets with Youth groups that works for advocacy and spreading the awareness among the Palestinian society. Mrs. Sebeina – Director of Middle East programs at the Cord Aid Foundation – said that the foundation hopes to contribute through a number of projects in developing the Palestinian society.
The delegation listened to presentation documentaries about the House of Wisdom and the PYAN team, after that a PYAN member introduced the PYAN works and activities, while another member presented the action plan of PYAN during 2014.
At the end of the meeting, Mrs. Jane – Responsible of Women empowerment program at Cord Foundation – expressed her admiration of the role of PYAN team in raising the awareness on the Palestinian cause. Mrs. Jane promised to keep in contact with PYAN team and to present the support for PYAN team.
