18 November 2014 | The Palestinian Youth Advocacy Network -PYAN conducted a seminar entitled: The European Democratic Experience..The Swedish Example
The team hosted Mr. Kjell Liungh, the international secretary at Civitas Institute in Gaza city.
The leader of PYAN, Eng. Basma Zaqqout opened the seminar by welcoming the guest as well as his eagerness to attend and participate in events organized by PYAN team.
Mr. Liungh spoke about the experience of democracy in the Kingdom of Sweden such as the coexistence and tolerance between members of the same society and how to gain benefit from this experience in the Arab situation in general and the Palestinian in particular. At the end of the meeting, discussion oppened between PYAN members and Mr. Liungh.
