the speakers of the seminar were Dr. Ghazi Hamad Deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Ma’moun Abu Amer the Political Analyst and Dr. Mahmoud Al-Hartani the Academic, the Institute invited researchers, students of Political Science and Media as well interested persons.

Mr. Mohammad Abu Sa’da opened the seminar and welcomed the speakers and the attendants, in his welcoming speech said that Egypt is considered as the main supporter of the Palestinian cause and Palestine needs Egypt, Mr. Abu Sa’da said that the goal of this seminar is to explore possibilities to end the crisis.

Mr. Ma’moun Abu Amer said that the attempt to consider the Palestinians as the enemy is not the first, during the rule of the previous Presidents Jamal Abdel Naser, Anwar Assadat and Hosni Mubarak the same attempts, referring that to the failure of the Egyptian regime to define the specifics of the Egyptian National Security.

While Dr. Mahmoud Al-Hertani spoke about the repercussions of the Egyptian incitement campaign against the Palestinians, in which affected the main sectors of life in Gaza such as The Health, Economical and humanitarian sectors, besides the crisis of closing the Rafah crossing which made thousands of Palestinians stuck in Gaza unable to travel to the outside world in which included patients, students and residents in other countries.

Dr. Ghazi Hamad the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that there is no justification of the incitement campaigns against the Palestinian, confirming that the Palestinians defy them if they can prove one accusation against Gaza or the Palestinians. Dr. Ghazi confirmed that the Palestinians have never intervened in the internal affairs in Egypt. He added that the Government is in contact with the Egyptian current regime to give them the clear stance of the government and to deny all the accusations being disseminated through the Egyptian media, he also said that the government has sent letters to the International community in general to ask them to pressure on the Egyptian authorities to reopen the Rafah crossing normally. Dr. Ghazi ended his talk by saying the only exit of this crisis is to end the state of division among the Palestinians.
