27-7-2011, The Diplomacy Club of the House of Wisdom organized a seminar entitled: The Fall of the Israel’s strategic Strengths,
the Instructors of the seminar were Dr. AbdEsttar Qasem the Lecturer & Political analyst from Nablus, Dr. Adnan Abu Amer the Researcher in the Israeli Affairs and Mr. Sami Al-Astal from the Diplomacy Club of the Institute.
At the beginning of the seminar Dr. Qasem spoke –through the Video Conference- about the nature of Israel’s depths which are mainly dependant on the western support and the weakness of the Arab regimes, Dr. Qasem also spoke about the limits of Israel’s strength.
From his side, Dr. Adnan abu Amer made his saying on the role of the West in keeping Israel as a main power in the region from the very beginning of the Zionist project in Palestine, but recently he said, that Israel became like a burden rather than a strategic asset according to certain Israeli officials.
Mr. Sami Al-Astal said on the new environment surrounding Israel which is not as in the past when the then Israeli PM Sharon said that Israel is safe from any threat.
