Prof. Norman Finkelstein, the American Political scientist and intellectual specialized in the Middle East conflict. The seminar was held via Skype.
Prof. Finkelstein began his talk by reviewing the gradual decline of Western countries to support Israel started by the Israeli aggression 1982 and then another decline after the Palestinian intifada 1987. He also said that the recent aggressions on Gaza have contributed to broad condemnation of Israel, Prof. Finkelstein confirmed his talk by a recent BBC survey showing Israel as a country threating world peace as N. Korea.
Prof. Finkelstein stressed in his talk that Palestinians should consider in their speeches directed to the Western World a language closer to the language of International Community and the Human rights laws, he said that this is the weakest point for Israel which can’t avoid and therefore, it is a strong point for Palestinians who have to benefit from it.
