The guest of the seminar and the lecturer was Mr. Ismael Petel of Friends of Al-Aqsa Foundation, Britain, coming to Gaza with a delegation of a convoy of smiles.
The seminar was attended by 20 members of the Institute’s youth advocacy team. The guest spoke about the historical chain of relations between the Islamic world and Europe. Mr. Ismail spoke about the role of the media in influencing public opinion in Europe and its impact.
It is worth mentioning that the convoy of Miles of Smiles arrived in Gaza on Sunday 19/6/2011, through the Rafah border crossing and includes about 50 solidarity of several nationalities and carrying aid and medicines to the Gaza Strip.
