22-1-2014, the Youth Advocacy Team PYAN of the House of Wisdom Institute organized an activity which simulates an Arab League Summit,
the PYAN members participated in the summit and delivered the Arab countries’ speeches that the Palestinians desire to hear from those states of support towards the Palestinian Cause and People.
At the end of the summit, the Secretary General of the Arab League read the final statement of the summit which confirmed on the legitimacy of the Palestinians to confront the occupier, and the right of the Palestinians to resist the Israeli measures that Judaize Jerusalem and the settlements’ expansion in the West Bank, the final statement mentioned forming an Arab Committee to end the Palestinian division and reunite the Palestinians under one political system.
Also, the final statement appreciated the Egyptian decision to open the Rafah crossing and ending the suffering of the Palestinians caused by the continuous closure of the crossing.
PAYN Youth team said that this is the first activity in 2014, and confirmed that it will conduct advocacy activities that raise the Arab and international awareness on the Palestinian Cause.
