Preparation Initiatives, a Training Meeting for Members of the Youth Incubator.
On 25th – 27th Aug., within its program “Empowering Community Leaders”, The Palestinian Youth Incubator held a training meeting entitled: “ preparation of community Initiatives”, presented by the Mr. Iyad Al-Dreemly, head of the Palestinian Youth Council.
Mr. Al-Dreemly talked about the way of preparing initiatives and derive their ideas from the problems and societal needs that youth face..
He motivated the trainees stressing their role in the society as entrepreneurs not followers since hard work within a particular community is the way to the required change.
In addition, he said that the process of preparing any initiative within a community comes only after having experiences, good knowledge and skills to be applied practically by the entrepreneur in order to achieve the desired goal.
In addition, the trainees and he came up with a number of initiatives plans that were developed well, so it could be implemented in the future under the auspices of the House of Wisdom institute.
Mr. Ahmed Dalloul, the incubator supervisor, assured that the training for preparing initiatives aims to hone the skills of participants in the management of community initiatives and to make them effective in the community.
Mr. Dalloul said that the incubator would launch community initiatives in the coming weeks, including an initiative aiming at enhancing national awareness among school students. He pointed out that the initiative would include more than 100 educational lectures on various topics.

Mr. Mohamed Yassin, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of the incubator, said that it’s his first time receiving a training on this topic in such a modern way. He got valuable knowledge of scientific methods to prepare initiatives according to experts’ experiences which benefited him when implementing some samples during the meeting. He added that youth are the pillars of any community activity in the Palestinian society since they can implement such activities.
He stressed that the role of youth in this case is positive since they can do it well despite the lack of funding for initiatives usually.
Miss Alaa Abu Laban, a trainee, said that the training added a lot to her, as she now could distinguish between the concept of “campaign” and “initiative”. She added that the meeting improved her way of choosing appropriate ideas for campaigns and initiatives that benefit the community and taught her that it’s better to work with a team to accomplish tasks on time and apply them as soon as possible.
It is worth mentioning that the members of the youth incubator will implement a number of community initiatives, planned in advance, aiming at making change by raising collective awareness among younger generation
