On Oct. 13, The Youth Incubator at House of Wisdom Institute held a training meeting on how to write a press article and it was presented by Mr. Sami Akila, writer and academic.
This meeting coincided with the launch of the awareness and educational initiatives program implemented by members of the second election period of the incubator.
At the end of the meeting, it was agreed that an incentive award would be given to the best five articles written by the trainees.
Mr. Mohammed Yassin, president of the Executive council of the incubator, said that what was presented provided the trainees with information about the importance of freedom of opinion and expression in decision-making. Moreover, it instilled in them the meaning of belonging to the word and not ignoring or leaving it when it’s necessary, without any external effects.
For his part, Ahmed Dalloul, incubator Supervisor, pointed out that this meeting provided the trainees clear skills on how to write an article starting with the title, introduction, body and finally the conclusion. Furthermore, it introduced them to the way of choosing titles and starting writing. He added that this lecture would be useful when writing researches, especially after they had a lecture on techniques of writing a scientific research.
It should be noted that the research writing program would be launched soon, as part of the implementation plan of the incubator.
