The Youth Incubator continues meetings of “Empowering Young Community Leaders Program”
On 10th Sep. 2019, The Palestinian Youth Incubator resumed its training workshop within “Empowering Young Community Leaders” program.
Mr. Ahmed Dalloul, Incubator Supervisor, talked about the mechanisms of implementing the youth initiatives’ program to raise the Palestinian national awareness in schools and institutions of the Gaza Strip. He also addressed the topic of managing t the discussion and dialogue through practical models implemented with guidance and supervision directly by the youth.
Moreover, he provided a full explanation on how to organize workshops, conferences and political debates.
Ruba Al-Doks, a trainee, said that comprehending the management of political debates was very important in the organizational work, adding that she was so grateful to attend all the training meetings presented for their significant impact on the personality of the Palestinian youth.
Furthermore, she shed the light on the topics raised and its significance on helping youth improve their prospects and be more mature at various levels to face changes and contradictions in the political arena.
It is worth mentioning that Mr. Dalloul also trained participant on conference and workshop’s management followed by a practical activity on the preparation of a mini workshop, with a direct assessment of performance after it.
Mr. Dalloul pointed out that the training provided the trainees with previous experiences as if they were involved in organizing conferences and workshops. They learned everything related to conferences beginning with thoughts and ending with evaluation, including planning, organizing and monitoring, as well as distributing sessions and topics, and dealing with all kinds of situations.
Huda Abu Hujair, a trainee, mentioned that the meeting was very special. Despite the technical problem happened, HOW was always ready to have solutions for any problem might occur. Furthermore, she pointed out that they learned the mechanisms of organizing any conference from A-Z. She said that there fruitful efforts could be noticed from the simulated conference activity they prepared in a short time.
She stressed that Mr. Dallout focused on the most prominent points which are managing political debates and interlocutor’s personality, adding that the outcome of that day was very fruitful.
The meeting ended up with a piece of advice and important guidance, including evaluations of the youth practical activities.
