HOW closes the project “Building the capacity of Civil Judicial Authority”

09 Nov. 2016, The House of Wisdom Institute for Conflict Resolution and Governance (HOW) closed the project “Building the capacity of Civil Judicial Authority in Gaza”

Read Morein collaboration with the High Judicial Council, under the patronage of DCAF (a center for security, development and rule of law), and the supervision of the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).

The project has taken a place in October and November 2016, with 21 training hours and participation of 30 judges from the first instance courts and appeal courts, it aimed to improve capacities of judges in advanced legal topics including limitation in civil law, possession, theory of contracts, rents, pre-emptions in the Palestinian law and authoritative of electronic debentures in proofing.

Finally, Counsel Abdel Ra’ouf Al Halabi, president of the High Judicial Council, expressed his thanks to HOW for its continuous efforts for promoting the rule of law and justice in the Palestinian community.
