The House of Wisdom for Conflict Resolution and Governance (HOW) closed the project “Improving the capacities of the military judicial personnel” in collaboration with the Military Judicial Authority and under the patronage of the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) and DCAF Center (for Security, Development and Rule of Law),
The closing session was attended by Dr. Ahmed Youssef, head of HOW, and Major-General Tawfeeq Anu Na’em, the Director-General of security department, Colonel Nassir Suleiman, head of the Military Judicial, Eng. Mahmoud Madhoun, the Secretary-General of HOW, and Dr. Mohammed Al Nahhal, lecturer in law at the Islamic University of Gaza.
Dr. Youssef, started his speech with pointing to the role of HOW in improving and developing capacities of the military judicial personnel theoretically and practically, he confirmed that HOW would continue its efforts on this aspect, for the purpose of enhancing law and justice principles.
At the end, participants were honored and certificates were distributed.
This project comes within the strategic plan of HOW, which aims to promote human rights in judicial, particularly in the military judicial which is responsible for accounting the human rights abusers.
