2014-5-29, house of wisdom Institute organized a series of events in solidarity and appreciation for the Turkish role in supporting the Palestinian people.
The Institute organized a press conference for the Turkish ambassador in Palestine and then threw flowers to commemorate the martyrs of the Freedom Flotilla in the Gaza Sea. The ambassador was accompanied by a number of Palestinian officials, headed by Dr. Ahmed Bahr, Vice President Parliment.
The Institute also organized a memorial for the victims of the Turkish mine, which resulted in the death of more than 300 people. Representatives of the government, factions and the Palestinian community offered their condolences to the Turkish ambassador on the victims of the mine. In his speech, Turkish Ambassador Mustafa Sarnish thanked the Palestinians for their solidarity with the Turkish people in his ordeal and stressed that Turkish support for the Palestinians would remain and stand by him.
