2011-12-6, the Youth Advocacy Group “Bayan” of Beit Hikma Institute participated in the first Palestinian Social Media Conference,
Which was organized by the network of media secretary, which was held between 4-6 of this month and targeted Palestinian activists, media and media workers.
The conference included discussions on several topics, including media tools and skills, the use of social media for change, and the use of technology to support various activities.
The group participated in the discussions and interventions that took place during the three days, and the “statement” made recommendations and suggestions, including supporting the boycott campaigns against Israel and activating the Palestinian cause through social networking sites.
