March 6, 2017, the House of Wisdom Institute for Consultation and Conflict Resolution received the South African Ambassador to the Palestinian Authority Mr. Ashraf Suleiman,
The delegation was accompanied by political advisor Patrick Jakob and his assistant Simon Motley. He was received by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Institute, Dr. Ahmed Yousef, the Program Director, Mr. Mohammed Al-Qatawi and the members of the Institute. Where Dr. Yusuf discussed with Ambassador Suleiman the Palestinian political situation and raised the division on the economic and social conditions in the Gaza Strip.
During his visit to the Institute, Ambassador Sulaiman briefed young people on South Africa’s experience of reconciliation and internal divisions as an example for young Palestinians. He spoke of South Africa’s success in reconciliation and laying the foundations for community justice, The foundation of the renaissance of South Africa, and was the basis for the dissemination of a culture of peace and the values of freedom and justice. Ambassador Sulaiman called on the Palestinian youth to exert efforts and unite among themselves to promote the Palestinian cause and to take away their stolen rights.
