3-6-2015, the House of Wisdom Institute HOW organized a closing ceremony after ending a training course entitled Media Discourse,
the course was executed in cooperation with the Police Directorate General of Training. HOW Board of Trustees attended the ceremony along with the Police Deputy Chief Zohair Shaheen and Mr. Mr. Kjell Liungh the International Secretary of Civitas Institute.
At the opening speech Dr. Ahmed Yousef – Head of HOW Board of Trustees – said that HOW implemented this training course as part of its policy to enhance the principle of good governance in Palestine and to improve the participants media capacities, Brigadier Zohair Shaheen thanked the House of Wisdom for its contribution to the success of the training course and providing excellent trainers for the course subjects. Mr Liungh emphasized the importance of such training course which will contribute to increasing the level of trust between citizens and Police departments.
The training course was executed over 30 hours, on 10 meetings, the subjects of the training course were such as mechanisms & techniques of the media discourse, the police dealing with journalists, communication skills and dealing with public, the Israeli media … etc.
