7-7-2011, The House of Wisdom Institute organized a one day training course …
entitled ” The Gender & the Security sector reform”, directed to 20 of the government employees, the training course were executed on 8 hours.
The Training Course included four main sessions, the first session was an overview on the components of the Security sector, its objectives and how to develop it.
The second session included an introduction to the importance of the gender in reforming the Security Sector, while in the third session, there was an open discussion on the situation in the Gaza Strip and how enhance the work on preventing violence and discrimination on the basis of gender.
In the final session, the trainees explained the procedures to be taken in order to enhance the supervision on the security sector.
