28th February 2016, Al-Hourani Studies Center in cooperation with the House of Wisdom for conflict resolution and governance organized a ceremony for signing a book authored by Dr. Ahmed Youssef in the Gaza Strip, the Head of the House of Wisdom, entitled “Yasser Arafat … a shining memory”.
The event was attended by many intellectuals, researchers, political figures, writers, academicians, and media agencies.
The ceremony was opened by writer Nahid Zakout, the director general of Al-Hourani Studies Center by welcoming the audience, and reading Fatiha for the Palestinian president, Yasser Arafat, the leader Ahmed Yassin, and all the Palestinian martyers. Speeches were deliverd by maby political leaders and intellectuals who are Dr. Faisal Abu Shahla, Fatah MP, Dr. Ghazi Hamad, a leader in Hamas, Dr. Ahmed Youssef, the book author, Youssuf Salama, and Ibrahim Abu Naja
