Saturday 11-9-2010, the House of Wisdom Institute sponsored an entertainment festival for children suffering from cancer and chronic diseases in cooperation with Khotwa Youth Foundation in the second day of Eid Al-Fitr in Dr. Abdul-Aziz Al-Rantisi hospital for children in Gaza city.
Mr. Mohammed Al-Qattawi – PR Officer in the Institute at the opening speech– said that the Institute sponsored such festival to enhance its role in serving the Palestinian community, bringing happiness to the children & their families and to confirm the mission of the Institute.
From his side, MP. Musheer Al-Masri -Honorary President of Khotwa Foundation- confirmed the necessity of enhancing such activities to make the people and their families feel that there are people and Foundations that take care about them and enhance the solidarity among the people.
Dr. Said Salah –Director of the Hospital– thanked and praised the organizers of the festival, and said that such ceremonies have a positive impact in helping patients and rising their spirit.
The festival included various activities such as songs, competitions, receiving gifts and other activities.
