29-2-2012, the House of Wisdom Institute for Conflict Resolution and Governance organized a workshop on the Policies of reforming the National Security Sector;
the attendants of the workshop were members of Palestinian Reconciliation Committee, members of the Diplomacy Club of the Institute and interested persons in the National Security.
During the workshop, the attendants discussed topics related to the National security Sector in Palestine and the possibilities of its reforming in the light of the Palestinian reconciliation. Also, the attendants discussed some experiences of countries in the field of the Reconciliation and how it contributed to reforming the Security Sector.
The Workshop discussed the mechanisms of setting hierarchies for the Security Sector apparatuses in which to be under the supervision of the Parliament.
