He spoke d. Ahmed Youssef on the latest developments of Palestinian reconciliation, which assured the ambassador that it is progressing correctly towards completion, and demanded d. Ahmed of the Ambassador that South Africa has a role in encouraging the parties to continue the process of reconciliation by virtue of South Africa’s experience in the field of community reconciliation.
For his part, Ambassador Makalima said that South Africa will always support the Palestinian people, whether in the accomplishment of its internal unity or security until the establishment of the Palestinian state and the return of the legitimate rights of the Palestinians.
