The condolences were attended by dozens of Palestinian leaders from all walks of life as well as the participation of Palestinian Deputy Prime Minister and Deputy Speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council. Representatives of the Palestinian factions gave speeches to the late Mandela and stated his positions in support of the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian right to independence and freedom.
