PYI Organizes a Meeting on the Political Geography of Palestine

On November 21, The Youth Incubator at House of Wisdom Institute held a training meeting entitled “Palestine’s Political and Natural Geography”, as part of the community leadership program, delivered by Mr. Hassan Abdo, a specialist in Palestinian affairs.

Mohammed Yassin, chairman of the executive board of the incubator, said that the trainees learned about the natural geography of Palestine and then the political one.

They have known the great position Palestine has in the Middle East since it has been a linking region between civilizations throughout history.

For her part, Kholoud Siam pointed out that the training provided her with new information about Palestine’s geographical position to the world and the Middle East as well as politically, as well as clarifying the idea of trans-business companies and their control.

In the same context, Mohammed al-Amsi explained that he benefited from the types of alliances, Iran and its historical opposition to the West, as well as noting the importance of Cairo, Damascus and Baghdad.

Mr. Abdo spoke on Indisputable topics for he convinced us of his various ideas and examples.

On the other hand, Huda Abu Hajir explained that was the first time she sees the Palestinian Cause from a larger perspective, and that she needed to go deeper in this regard  in order to gain knowledge about the geography of Palestine.

At the end of the meeting, discussions and inquiries were opened, and there were multiple opinions on several topics due to the many intellectual backgrounds of the attendees.
