On Oct. 8, The second session of the Executive Council of the Palestinian Youth Incubator was launched, after internal elections held among its executive council members.
Mr. Mohammed Yassin was elected president of the executive council of the youth incubator, in a democratic way and high acceptance for this principle, hoping this could be implemented at the national level one day.
For his part, Mr. Ahmed Dalloul, Incubator Supervisor, pointed out that these elections came at the end of the first session that began since July 1, 2019, describing it as a democratic session aimed at strengthening the democratic approach in the youth incubator, as agreed in advance among all members.
Dalloul explained that this incubator wanted to emulate the legislative council or some of the political institutions in which elections are held. Thus, we have seen a clear change in the political behavior of the members of this incubator, stressing that all of them now believe in democracy, and follow the leadership role according to the election.
For his part, Mohammed Yassin, President of the Executive Council of the new session, said that he would follow in the footsteps of his predecessors, towards the ability of Palestinian youth to accept all opinions and to talk and dialogue under one national approach, away from factional fightings.
Furthermore, his ambition was to make integration in the relationship between the members of the incubator, to promote a culture of accepting the other and to respond to the corresponding opinions in a good way, away from intellectual narcissism and the belief that his/her opinion was correct and the opposite was wrong.
Mr. Ahmed Dalloul continued by saying that each elected president of the council prepares an implementation plan for three months and presents it to the incubator supervisor and HOW. Plus, this plan has to be inseparable from the plan that had been drawn up with HOW.
It is worth mentioning that the program of initiatives will be launched by the members of the incubator towards schools and institutions of the community in a shape of educational and awareness campaign, targeting different groups of the society.
In conclusion, Mr. Yassin explained that he hoped that the incubator would have an impact on factional leaders, and that through conveying the image experienced by the members of the incubator, surrounded by harmonic atmosphere. Hopefully, this would have impact at all levels.
