Under the patronage of the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) and DCAF (a center for security, development and rule of low), the House of Wisdom (HOW) organized a specialized training in cooperation with the Public Prosecution, entitled “Improving capacities of the personnel of the attorney-general office”, the training targeted 28 prosecutors from all governorates of Gaza, it was supervised by the deputy minister of MOFA, Dr. Ghazi Hamad, and the attorney-general, Dr. Ismael Jaber.
Eng. Mahmoud Madhoun, the Secretary-General of HOW, stated that HOW will continue its efforts on improving and enabling security cadres to achieve justice. In addition, Dr. Ismael Jaber, the Attorney-General, confirmed on the importance of enhancing the knowledge and skills of the Public Prosecution personnel, and expressed gratitude for HOW for its efforts on this field, there is a critical need to organize programs seek to achieve rule of low.
From his side, Dr. Ghazi Hamad, the deputy minister of MOFA, expressed thanks for the House of Wisdom for developing the security and justice sectors and enhancing justice and rule of low.
The training includes 27 hours specialized in forced possession, trespassing for the purpose of committing a crime, fraud crimes and the electronic crimes. Practical case studies will be addressed basing on the Palestinian low, and will be compared to other lows i.e. Jordanian low, Egyptian low, and the international standards and lows.
