2-2-2014, The Youth Advocacy Team “PYAN” of the House of Wisdom Institute organized a seminar on “The Palestinian National Reconciliation”,
the PYAN team hosted Dr. Abdel Kareem Shbair the Chairman of the Independent Palestinian Group to speak about the reconciliation efforts.
Dr. Shbair mentioned that the Palestinian people is not satisfied with the efforts of the Palestinian factions to reach reconciliation, Dr. Shbair said that factions must be aware of what the Israeli Occupation is committing in Jerusalem and the West Bank in general where the Israeli authorities announce everyday expansions of settlements, the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip, and therefore, the Factions must be responsible of what is going on…
Dr. Shbair welcomed the initiative of Mr. Ismael Hanniya about the reconciliation and urged Fateh Movement to seize this opportunity by taking similar steps towards ending the division.
At the end of the seminar, Dr. Shbair expressed his admiration of the intellectual level of the PYAN team.
