Under the theme of “The future of the legislations enacted during the division period under the light of the Palestinian Reconciliation”, the House of Wisdom Institute (HoW) organized a study day in collaboration with “Al-Awda College” University on Thursday, 4thJanuary 2014, at “Al Mathaf” Hotel in Gaza,
in the presence of the Palestinian Attorney-General in Gaza, Counsel Diaa’ Al Madhoun, in addition to a number of PLC members and legal and juridical figures. The study day was opened with holy Quran, the national Anthem and the speech of the Dean of “AL Awda College” University, Dr. Hisham Salim Al Moghary. From his part, Eng. Mahmoud Al Madhoun, in his speech on behalf of HoW, spoke about the role of HoW on conflicts resolution and governance. The president of the scientific committee of the study day, Dr. Bahaa-Addine Al-Seqali, explained that the study day is conducted for the importance of having a critic and scientific practical review of the Palestinian legislations. The study day included three sessions: the first session was chaired by dr. Safi Al-Dahdouh and entitled “the protocols of the legislations enacted by the president of the National Authority”; the second session was chaired by Dr. Nayef Al-Farra and entitled “The legislations enacted by the Palestinian Legislation Council”; and the third session was chaired by Dr. Anwar Al-Sha’er and entitled “The legislations enacted by the consecutive Palestinian governments”. The event was ended with the conclusions and recommendations session and honoring the participants and the organizers. Pointing that Eng. Mahmoud Al-Madhoun, the Secretary-General of HoW, mentioned that the institute is going to conduct the Criminal Justice Conference and called on everyone for participation
