HOW organized a seminar entitled “Enhancing the unity relationship between the Muslims & Christians”

16-2-2013, the House of Wisdom Institute (HOW) in cooperation with the Palestinian National Reconciliation Committee (PNRC) organized a seminar...

entitled “Enhancing the unity relationship between the Muslims & Christians, a number of religious scholars – Muslims & Christians – attended the seminar along with other interested personals.

Dr. Ahmed Yousef Head of HOW’s Board of Trustees and the periodical Head of the PNRC opened the seminar welcomed the two main guests of the seminar, Dr. Salem Salama the Head of Palestine Muslims Scholars Association and the Head of Orthodox church in Palestine Patriarch Alexious. Dr. Yousef thanked the guests for attending the seminar in which represents how they are meant to retain the normal relations among Muslims and Christians in Palestine.

In his speech, Alexiuos thanked the House of Wisdom for seeking the achievement of the fraternity relation between the Muslims and Christians, confirming that the role of the church is to spread peace and fraternity among the Palestinians, and that the services of the Orthodox are presented to all Palestinians.

Dr. Salem Salama begun his speech by confirming that the Palestine Scholars Association didn’t and won’t compel or force anyone to convert to Islam, and this is Islam with no compulsion. Dr. Salem called upon media to be careful when covering such stories that may harm the fraternity relations between Muslims and Christians.

At the end of the Seminar, Dr. Jamil Salama from the PNRC read the final statement of maintaining the normal relations between the Palestinians whether Muslims or Christians.
